DIY Workshop crew understands that a child learns by doing. During these Covid-19 times we are determined to give children of all ages the opportunity to continue to grow both academically and socially through collaboration and independent work. We will offer organized afternoon workshops with a Makerspace feel. Each afternoon participants will be challenged with a hands on/instructor led project as well as time built in for guidance with their online assignments. School comes first!

DIY Kids will learn how to measure, mark, plan, sand, saw, drill and much more. Projects can include but are not limited to indoor/outdoor toys, organizational visuals, catapults, storage boxes, shelving, and stools. The makers will be given options to work collaboratively at all times to encourage social skills. Our goal is to instill confidence and creativity. We believe that everyone has the ability to do hard things given the right environment and support!
